Stressed

After work...I tried to
wrap presents,
make cards,
write cards,
fit everything in a box (to mail to Germany) and
most importantly.... get to the post office before closing.
Check out the mess.
I'm happy to report that I made it on time ( I wasn't even the last one there), however, I broke 2 nails in the process, misplaced the scotch tape numerous times, and forgot to include some items and cards in the packages.
I'm still not finished with everything and will probably make several more mad trips to the post office this week....my usual pre- Christmas routine.

Heute...auf dem Rueckweg

I was able to capture a little snow in the images taken today on our return journey from Branson. They had a heavy snow fall last week. At Hillbilly Junction seems to be the cut off line....no more snow after we passed there.

Wieder zurueck

We are back from Branson and Silverdollar City. We had a great time enjoyed the shows as well as Silverdollar City.
Bin wieder zurueck aus Branson and Silverdollar City. War sehr schoen, besonders die Weihnachtsauffuehrungen. Am besten hat mir "Charles Dickens Christmas Carol" gefallen,( als Musical aufgefuehrt von einer Gruppe aus New York) und der Japaner Soshi auf seiner Geige.

Der Schnee von letzter Woche, im westlichen Missouri, liegt immer noch, wie man hier auf dem Highway nach Branson sieht.

Wir sind uebrigens gut in Branson angekommen, nach 3 1/2 stuendiger Fahrt.

Fahre Morgen nach der Arbeit mit einer Freundin nach Branson . Das liegt ca 200 Meilen westlich von hier und ist in ganz USA fuer Country Music bekannt...grosse Attraktion fuer Country Music Fans. Erik is getting ready to leave for Michigan again on sunday, Nov. 26th. ( He arrived at 11:30 pm that night )
Kurz vor Eriks Rueckfahrt nach Michigan am 26.11. Er ist um 23:30 h dort angekommen.

The new mall in Jonesboro...decorated for Christmas.
Ich war dann spaeter mit Minnie in der weihnachtlich geschmueckten , neuen Mall in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Dort sind die Leute viel freundlicher als in Missouri ( ist weiter im Sueden).

Erik is now an official member of the Michigan Bar Association. His swearing in ceremony was in November.
Erik ist jetzt Mitglied der Anwaltskammer in Michigan.

Problems

Having problems posting pictures to the blog. Kann im Moment, aus mir unerklaerlichen Gruenden, keine Bilder hochladen.

It missed us again

We didn't get any snow at all, just a little ice. St.Louis got enough for us too. Julia said , they had 10 inches in Chicago and her work was cancelled. Erik said Detroit remained free of snow also.
