Had a little dusting of snow last night. I was excited....
Look quickly, it will be gone soon...

At home again

Arrived this afternoon. Glad we made it safely. We had rain almost all the way home ranging from very heavy to light mist and thick fog.

Seit heute nachmittag sind wir wieder daheim. Keine angenehme Fahrt....Regen und Nebel....

Off to Branson tomorrow

Della, Minnie and I are taking a trip to Branson / Silverdollar City for the weekend. Looking forward to getting out of town and escaping this chaos.
Morgen geht's ab nach Branson und Silverdollar City. Della, Minnie und ich fahren zusammen hin....
schoen mal dem taeglichen Chaos zu entfliehen...
War heute auf der Post, nur 1 Minute zu spaet, aber rein gelassen haben sie mich trotzdem nicht. Deshalb muss ich morgen frueh nochmal hin.

Visit from Bobbi ( Julia's friend) and her little boy Gabriel in the afternoon.
Shopping mit Julia in der Mall in Jonesboro. Vorher war die Bobbi mit ihrem kleinen Sohn Gabriel zu Besuch.

Walking

around the neighbourhood this morning...
Sunny but cold...
not enough walking to burn all the excess calories we consumed yesterday...
Spaziergang durch die Nachbarschaft mit Julia...
um die zusaetzlichen Kalorien von gestern ( Thanksgiving) loszuwerden ...

Later on we plan on shopping in Jonesboro...according to the Black Friday tradition..

Nachher fahren wir nach Jonesboro zum Einkaufen. Das ist Tradition hier in USA, am Tag nach Thanksgiving. Neuerdings heisst der Tag auch " Black Friday", da die Geschaefte angeblich an dem Tag von roten in schwarze Zahlen kommen. Wir wollen natuerlich auch unseren Beitrag leisten.
