Perfect summer day. Temp. in the 80's. We ate lunch by the pool after Julia got home from church. At 1pm Julia's grandmother came over to swim. She only stayed till 3pm (as always). I just got off the phone with my mom, her checkup (heart valve) last week was ok. That's welcome news. The heat is still relentless in Germany, although they had a big storm last night...thanks for the video clip Hans-Christian.
I'm sitting by the pool eating blackberry cobbler and drinking decaf (it's after 3 pm) and listening to the soothing sound of the water. ...Perfect.

Minnie will be over to swim and Ryan is coming to use the internet.
