Minnie, Mocha and I celebrated the new year with a slightly non traditional meal of deviled eggs, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and bratwurst.

Saturday

we had Minnie over for supper and then the Wests paid us a surprise visit. We enjoyed their interesting anecdotes about NYC life.
Am Samstag hatten wir die Minnie zum Essen eingeladen, ich hatte was schoenes deutsches gekocht. Anschliessend kam dann die Fam. West ueberraschend zu Besuch. Wir haben uns bestens unterhalten und koestlich amuesiert ueber ihre bisherigen Erfahrungen in New York City.

Minnie came over monday to help me eat leftovers from Thanksgiving.
Am Montag hatte ich Minnie zum " Reste essen" eingeladen. Es war noch viel Essen von Thanksgiving uebrig.
