Ice and Snow

Minnie is going to her nephew's house because she had no electricity for several days. ( He picked her up from my house ..... her hill was impassable and there were power lines in her street)

Minnie hat keinen Strom und wird deshalb von ihrem Neffen bei mir abgeholt. Ihre Strasse ist nicht befahrbar wegen gerissener Stromleitungen.

Two days ago

it looked like this....now the ice has gone and the snow is melting....I still have no heat, but at least the internet is working again.
Vor 2 tagen sah's noch so aus...jetzt ist das Eis weg und der Schnee schmilzt. Leider hab ich immer noch keine Heizung, aber das Internet funktioniert wieder. Seit Dienstag haben viele Leute in PB und Umgebung, durch einen Eis und Schneesturm, keinen Strom.

Going to work

this morning was slightly hazardous after a night of snow and sleet....I almost didn't make it up my hill...
Uebernacht hat's geschneit und geregnet....war etwas schwierig den Berg rauf zufahren....hab's aber dann doch nach mehreren Versuchen geschafft....

Going home

after a hard day's work....many of the coworkers couldn't make it in....but most of the patients braved the weather to have surgery....
Heute abend sah's dann so aus....
